2008 in Review

Alright, I finished with my Christmas posting and am moving on the New Year's. Today I am posting a quiz I found about last year.

1. What did you do in 2008 that you’d never done before?
Went to the Emergency Room.

2. Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I didn’t make any this last year.
I am planning on making some this year - I am just a little behind

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Besides my self, My sister Rachael.

4. Did anyone close to you die?
No

5. What countries did you visit?
TEXAS!

6. What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008?
A cleaner house

7. What dates from 2008 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
September 15 - The day Davey was born

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Graduating with my Bachelor and Master degree
Creating and then giving birth to a child

9. What was your biggest failure?
Housework
Exercise

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
M*O*R*N*I*N*G S*I*C*K*N*E*S*S!

11. What was the best thing you bought?
All of the furniture we got from Craig’s list. But mostly the rocking chair we got for $30.

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
My sister Rachael: She a mother of four; Primary President; PTA secretary; her husband changed jobs, drastically cutting their salary; her husband is gone all week long for academy and she still gets more done in the day that I do!

Davey: I am always surprised at what a good baby he is. He is spoiling me rotten!

BYU
Wal-mart

Graduating
Indian Jones IV (quite disappointing)
Going to California in July
Olympics
Having a Baby
BYU football season (a little disappointing)
My sister Rachael coming to visit

16. Compared to this time last year, are you:
a) happier or sadder? Happier (I have Davey)
b) thinner or fatter? First I was thinner, then I was fatter, then I was thinner again and then thanks to Thanksgiving and onward I have become fatter again.
c) richer or poorer? Poorer. Poorer. Poorer. And Poorer

17. What do you wish you’d done more of?
Sleeping

doing my homework

Watching T.V.

With my mom and three siblings in Cedar City.

Yes with David Jesse Chase

Jon and Kate plus 8.

Don’t know.

A Baby!

More sleep

I don’t know, but it WASN’T Indian Jones IV.

27. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I turned 24 and I went out to eat at P.F. Chang’s.

28. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
A couple thousand more dollars

29. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2008?
Hand-me-down maternity clothes from my sister Rachael

30. What kept you sane?
The Baby Einstein activity center that my friend Britt is letting me borrow

The any color that’s not pink b/c I would never put my baby boy in something pink vibrating chair my sister gave me.

Michael Phelps

The Presidential Election - duh.

Never let any circumstance stop you from doing normal things. Some things just have to get done and you just got to find a way to do them.
