The Tassel Turns!

I can't even begin to image what words I could use to explain my feelings. It has been the greatest blessing to attend BYU, to be accepted into the accounting school and later into the master's program. I couldn't explain how it feels to graduate from college with a master's degree. The best I can do is use a quote from Sister Hinckley as my own: "Life is more than I ever imagined it would be."

In the above picture, I am trying to show off my fancy hood I get for having a master. Everything about graduation was prefect. On Thursday, I saw Elder Bednar and Sister Beck. Elder Bednar gave an amazing and meaningful (not to mention prefect length) talk about "Learning to Love Learning." Friday was the Marriott School commencement and our speaker spoke about "To Much is Given Much is Much is Required." After those two talks I feel like I have so much more to do and to learn now that I am graduated then before. Having my name read and standing on stage was over in a whirlwind. Both my Mom and Dad came out to see me and of course my ever supported husband was there. I couldn't ask for anything more.

I would like to thank the teachers that made this all possible, although they will never read this or know how deeply I feel about them.

Mr. Ken Allen, Mr. Brooks, Prof. Cassy Budd, Dr. David Cottrell, Dr. Robert Gardner and Dr. Boyd Randall.

Thank you for not only teaching me, but for touching me in ways you'll never know - that is the greatest service you could give... not to teach but to change.

Enjoy the enormous amount of pictures!
