It's Tuesday (well... it's actually Wednesday)!

And where are you ...

I am in the small town of Starkfield, Mass. It's the middle of winter, a bad storm just blew in. He didn't have to do it, but he did. Why? Because he needed the money? Because he was kind? He still picked me up, like every morning, to drive me to the train station. On our way home, we had to walk beside the horse. The snow was too bad; we couldn't ride any more. I couldn't see, but I guess we made it to his house. "No point in going on in this weather," he said. And with out any more words I knew he was offering to let me spend the night at his farm. As we entered the house, I heard a voice. His wife's. Maybe tonight I might learn another clue about the mystery man who drove me to the station everyday without ever talking. (It's Tuesday ... Where are you?)

"If you know Starkfield, Massachusetts, you know the post-office. If you know the post-office you must have see Ethan Frome drive up to it, drop the reins on his hollow-backed bay and drag himself across the brick pavement to the white colonnade: an you must have asked who he was." (Teaser Tuesday)

Ethan Frome, Edith Wharton

It's like I am actually in the book, living what the main character is living. The question is where am I this Tuesday, aka where is the main character in the current book I am reading and what is he/she doing.

I am in a train station trying to move past the loss of my father's journal. It was burned by an old man, the man who runs the toy shop. I can't forgive the little girl who lives with him for her broken promise. I'm thinking back to the way I brought the automan to live with me, here in the train station. (It's a fairly new YA book, wonder if anyone knows what it is...I've just started it)

Take a Guess...
