Our Little Clown

Sometimes Kristi and I call Davey our little clown because some of the things he does, just being a baby, make us laugh. Today, however, our four month-old baby burped out his first real joke that left us laughing for minutes. Davey had just finished his bottle, and I had just got home from school. Davey is always more excited when he sees one of us for the first time in hours. So Kristi sat him up and started patting his back while Davey looked excitedly at me. After just a few seconds of being patted, he let out a big burp, to which Kristi and I both smiled at him and said "GOOD BOY!!" Davey must have understood the compliment because he smiled back, and then a couple of seconds later he made the first fake "burp" of his life. It sounded just like a real one, but it was a lot quieter and it was obvious that it wasn't real. That's our little lovable clown!

I logged onto my blog and looked to the side and wondered, "Why does Kristi have a blog about baby Jarom up?" Huh? Oh that's his brother DAVEY. I had to take a second look. Just like their aunties, the curse remains. LOL
