Thankful Thursday

Natalie Gurr: Happy Birthday, Girl! Today is one of my best friend's birthdays! Why I love her: 1. She makes me feel special, for some reason she thinks I am funny and she always tells me what I great friend/good person she thinks I am. 2. I can complain about ANYTHING to her. She always listens and she is always on my side. 3. She is funny, too! I love her stories. 4. She is my reading buddy, we have a semi-successful book club together, she likes to read a lot of the same things and appreciates good literature. 5. She is really goal minded. We used to set monthly goals together and then keep each other on track. She is always motivating me to be better by her wonderful example. --- I love you, Natalie!

Half-Birthdays: Today is my half-birthday! I have always made a big deal out of it since I was little. I love more reasons to celebrate things!

Davey's High Chair: Davey loves his high chair. It makes feeding him a million times easier and he sits in it when I am on the computer or washing dishes, he doesn't feel sad anymore, like I am ignore him, because he feels like he is part of the action.

Tax Returns: Joseph and I figured that Davey overall has been a profit maker to us. Thanks to a loving family who have provided us with much of the things Davey needs, we really haven't spent a whole lot on him. But thanks to the child tax credit, EIC and the stimulus package (since we didn't have Davey last year, we didn't get money for him in the stimulus package, but they are letting us get it this year!), our tax return has never looked better. And it comes at a time we really need it.
