Gordon's Blessing

"Every member of the church of Christ having children is to bring them unto the elders before the church, who are to lay their hands upon them in the name of Jesus Christ, and bless them in his name." Doctrine and Covenants 20:70


Sunday August 1st was Gordon's blessing. My dad, Susan, Jeremy and Jared came out. Also, Joseph's mom and dad and brother, Dan, came.

We had some fun times hanging out and eating out. On Saturday the boys (Dad, David, Dan, Jeremy and Joseph) went floating down the Provo River. I have always heard of people doing it and that it is fun. All the boys came back with big smiles on their faces. Joseph has some bad rash on the inside of his arms. When he would paddle with his arms it would rub up against the tube he was floating it. It looks painful. While the boys were busy with that the girls, Susan, Linda and me along with Jared, Davey and Gordon did some shopping for the blessing luncheon. We had a good time talking with each other.

My aunt Deb, her daughter Emilie and also my good friends the Claytons, (Katy, Dan and Hannah, who is a month younger than Davey) came out for the blessing, too.

After church we went to take some nice pictures outside by a fountain we like. The sun was not in our favor however.
