Michael Chase has received his mission call to serve the Lord as a representative of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints for two years in the Indiana, Indianapolis Mission!
I am trying to think of something to say that will augment my previous statement, but I think it is useless so I will leave it at that.
Side Notes:
1) Out of every one that guessed where Mike would go on his mission, Mike came the closest guessing Michigan. There is actually a small portion of Michigan in the Indiana, Indianapolis mission.
2) Kristi and I had some extra plane voucher money left and were able to find some cheap tickets to Denver. We were able to go with Mike when he went through the temple to receive his endowments. That was a great oportunity. Like we always tend to do when at my parents house, we didn't take any pictures.
3) A week after we went to Colorado Springs to go with Mike to the Denver Temple, Mom, Mike and Dan came to our house on their way to Idaho. Mike and Dan stayed for a few days, and we had a lot of fun. We played raquetball twice which Mike and Dan had never played. After Family Home Evening on Monday night with the singles ward, Krist and I played a game with Mike and Dan and then for no reason (except maybe it was getting late and we might have been too tired to think straight) we tried to look like old men. Dan is rather convincing.
