This goes out to all the Father's out there:
Wednesday afternoon brought two phone calls which would eventually make this one of the craziest weekends ever!
First, Joseph's best friend from Missouri, Ryan, was traveling from Missouri to California to sell pest control for the summer. He had called earlier in the week to ask if he could sleep over on Wednesday night. Of course we said, yes! However, on Wednesday afternoon Ryan's car broke down in Rock Springs, WY. His one night visit turned out to be a weekend. Ryan isn't sure yet what will happen to his car, but for now we're just enjoying the time we have to spend with him.
Also Wednesday afternoon brought a phone call from Joseph's brother Mark. Mark just recently came home from his mission in Macon, Georgia. Mark was planning on spending the summer with his uncle, Rocky, catching lobsters in Cape Code. However, the lobstering business isn't going too well in the New England area and Mark found himself without enough work to do. Therefore, Mark decided to try his luck in the bubble (aka Provo for those not fluent in the local lingo). He called on Wednesday to ask if he could stay the summer with us. After much thought and discussion, we decided it was the best thing to do.
