Congratulations, Kristi!

And it's finally over - the job search! The two other jobs I have had in my life came very easily. Each time I only had to apply to one job, and I got it immediately. This time I am glad that the first job I applied to turned me down. Although, I am sad that I don't get free jamba juices every day and it was a hit to the self-esteem to be turned down by Jamba Juice. It has been a frustrating couple of weeks as I "hit the pavement" every day trying to find a job.

The Lord blesses us, but in his own time frame. And I am glad it took so long to find a job, because if not, I would have settled for something less than what I got.

The company I finally found is going to be a great opportunity for me. It is a small company, called Procerus, that designs the auto pilot "stuff" in airplanes. OK, so I don't exactly understand what they do yet, but I am sure I'll learn. My job will essentially be to do all of the administrative work, but especially be in charge of all the books. This is the type of job I wanted when I started the accounting program: to be the accountant for a small company. (Of course this changed when I learned how great doing taxes are, but it was the original dream.) I am so excited for my new job!
