Back on August 2nd, Provo hosted a National Night Out. This is a once a year event for the community to bring awarness about safety and crime prevention.
It was a nice little community event, just the kind of thing I live for, free hot dogs, free ballons, and cool stuff for the boys to look at.
Below is Trigger. He's a police dog. He goes into buildings and sniffs out the bad guys. He's pretty cool. Davey really wanted to pet him, that is until he actually got to the front of the line. Then I think Davey was intimidated by his coolness. Right then a random person with a dog, an average type dog, walk by and Davey really wanted to pet that dog. The person was nice and understanding and let Davey pet her dog for awhile.
Afterward Trigger's handler was player catch near where we were enjoying our free dinner, and Davey enjoyed watching Trigger run after the ball. The new Police Chief came and said "hi" to us. He was super nice.
It was a prefect Tuesday night at the park.
Thanks, Provo!
