Green Eggs and Ham Party

On March 2nd 1904 a man named Theodor Seuss Geisel was born. He had delighted children and adults for generations with his stories and drawings.

Every March 2nd people all over celebrate him! We joined in by having our very own GREEN EGGS AND HAM PARTY: Toddler Style.

Davey had 5 friends come over on Wednesday for a breakfast of, what else but, green eggs, ham, and an orange julius drink. I read Green Eggs and Ham and I Can Read With My Eyes Shut while the toddlers ate.

Next we played two games: pin the eggs on the plate and find the eggs (which consisted of me hiding paper green eggs in the living room and having the toddlers find them, this game never gets old).

Finally we had coloring time with banana cupcakes and cream cheese frosting.

Being the host of such a crazy and zany group, I didn't take pictures of the party, so instead I decided to take pictures of the "after party" before I started the clean up.

Some left over "green eggs" and some placemats the toddler used during breakfast.
Some ham, an extra coloring page, and the leftover banana cupcakes.
