Lately ...

Lately we've been living in survival mode. We might have to make some changes in our lives and we thought we had it all figured out and now we don't. (Such is life - I suppose) We'll let you know when we know for sure. (Is the suspense killing you? Sorry, I can't give hints. But that paragraph might have sounded more serious than it is.)

Other than that not much to report. Davey is just growing up all the time. He continues to get better at signing and learning all kinds of animal noises. Recently, we started teaching him his body parts; he knows where his nose, mouth, head, belly and feet are. He kind of knows eyes and ears but keeps getting them mixed up. He can also show you the answer to where does your hat go? and where do your shoes go? (Hint: the answers are on your head and feet, respectively)

Davey may have learned his first word. Of all the things to learn to say first Davey says "Nose" when pointing to it. He hasn't figured out who Mommy or Daddy are yet and we are still working on getting him to point to the right person when asked.

Davey is all boy all the time. Besides cars and balls, recently, Davey has started playing with swords, a.k.a. empty paper towel rolls, and loves to have sword fights with us.

We are leaving on Friday to spend Christmas in Colorado Springs with Joseph's family and have Christmas fever all over!

On a quick sad note: Davey has broken our camera and so we wont be able to take pictures at Christmastime, hopefully we can find a way to get a new camera sometime fairly soon, Davey is just too cute to not snap a camera at all the time.
