I'm pregnant and I can cry if I want to

Here is a great "I am way to emotional these days" story.

Everybody asks me things like: "How are you progressing, is the baby on its way?" or "When is your doctor saying the baby is coming?" I would say, "I don't know but I have an appointment this Wednesday, the doctor should check me and let me know."

So Wednesday came and although the prospect of undressing for the doctor is never high on ones list, I was excited to see if I was progressing at all. I was sure I was as I have convinced myself the baby will come early. I have recently started having Braxton-Hicks and had also convinced myself that they meant more than they really do.

What a shocking surprise when the nurse told me that I was still too early to start checking as they didn't want to take the chance of starting anything. When she left the room I cried - big rolling fat tears. Yes, I was crying because I was only as far along as I really am and I wouldn't be getting undressed this time.

Later when I went out to lunch with Joseph and I told him that the doctor actually didn't check me, I cried those same huge tears in the middle of the Sizzler line.

Silly?? Sizzler is the best. The salad bar is 6.99 for lunch. Besides salad you get fruit, tacos, potatoes, chicken wings, soup and ice cream! What a deal! Yum!

Awww! I really know exactly what you mean. They should start checking next week though. You look great! Being pregnant is really challenging and you have ever right in the world to cry in the middle of the sizzler line ;).

You can absolutely cry if you want to. I have a collection of hospital bands that would be hard to beat I went to the hospital so often hoping Jeremy was ready. The hospital was an hour away too... Hang in there.

You can cry if you want to! I remember being so ready even before the babies were ready. Hang in there it will come before you know it.
