Swing Batter Batter Swing!

Last Saturday we babysat Joseph's two cousins (Emily and Tyler) so their parents could get some work done on a condo in Orem they are trying to sell (we had the easy job).

We went to the BYU softball game against (boo) Utah. During the game we tried to teach Emily the "Swing Batter Batter" chant. She got the "swing" part down, but would yell it when the batter wasn't on base or other irrelevant times. When BYU got up to bat, she continued to yell "swing." We told her that this was our team and we don't want to mess them up. She responded: "I know, I am helping them so they know when is a good time to swing." Oh well, only so much work can be done at one game.

The best two parts of a baseball game are eating the sunflower seeds and spitting the shells on the ground and hot dogs. So although BYU lost, I got to have sunflower seeds and a hot dog and in all it was a successful outing.

Both Joseph and I are excited for good weather and many more trips to the ballpark.
