The Blessing of having a baby blessing are: 1. family and 2. food.

I had plenty of both!

After my sister visited me in Provo for a few days, I loaded up Davey into her car and we set off to California to spend the week at my dad's house.

What fun!

We mostly just relaxed around the house, but we also saw the Time Traveler's Wife. (If I did cry, I'd never admit it.)

The wonderful trip ended on Sunday with Jared's Baby Blessing. After church, everyone came over to my dad's house for some delicious Mexican food. Susan, my step-mom, made a really cute candy buffet, too. Jared slept through his entire party. Silly boy. (Actually it seemed to me at least that Jared slept through my whole visit - I am sure Susan would disagree)
