April 22nd

Jesse Peter Dalebout
April 22, 1982 to January 18, 2004

Over the weekend, I, along with Davey, took a trip with my dad and little brother, Jeremy, up to Cody, Wyoming to see my brother Jesse's grave. It had been awhile since I had visited it and I wanted to bring Davey since his middle name is after my brother, Jesse. The trip was long (10 hours from Provo to Cody) but a lot of fun and defiantly worth it.

Here we are in my dad's truck.

Jeremy kept us entertained from the backseat and was such a good helper with Davey. He's practicing for his own little brother, who will join us in July.

Davey wondering what's going on and when can he get out of his car seat. Davey did a great job for a 7 month old doing two days of 10 hours. Good Job, Davey!

Davey "meeting" his uncle Jesse.

Sister Kristi and Nephew Davey with Jesse.

Davey learning about grass on the Wyoming Prairie

On the way home, we stopped at the "Parting of the Ways" were wagons turned depending on if they were headed for Oregon or California and Utah. It was so amazing to still see the wagon wheel ruts in the ground and to be able to see were the two trails went. I loved it there. It had that "feeling" I can feel every time I go somewhere historical. I loved it!

Back in Utah, we went out to eat at IHOP after Joseph's last final of the semester, to say goodbye to my dad and Jeremy.

Thanks for the great trip Dad!

you have something in common with my husband. Both of you have brothers that passed away at too young an age and in the same way. I am planning on giving one of my children their uncles given name as their middle name too. I need to take my kids to meet Uncle Ron.

Your picture of your little cutie learning about Prarie grass is fantastic! And so cute! Good job! :)
