Clothespin Dolls

This posting is way overdue, since I made these about a month ago. This is my first craft post (I just become more and more of a true blogger every day) and my first to check off my summer craft list. This was VERY easy. I bought an 1/8 yard of different fabrics from Joan's, a 1/4 yard of different ribbons (that was a real weakness for me, because the ribbons were so cute and more expensive than the fabrics) and a hot glue gun. No sewing required!

These are the ones I made.

This is the one Joseph made.

I bought one piece of pink felt (cost = .20) and we hot glued the sides 1/2 the way up. Probably should have sewed the sides but I don't have a sewing machine and I was too lazy to do it by hand, but I think the hot glue worked just fine. Then Joseph cut the hole in the top and sewed the button on. This was a fun gift to make and prefect for any little girl. Also, the little case negates the need for wrapping paper, which we don't have.
